Creme Of Nature: Butter-Licious Curls

January 17, 2015

I’m back with a review!

Some of you may know that I’m a naturalista. I love rocking my unruly, curly, frizzy 3c/4a/4b fro! I do keep it tucked away during the cold months. Altough I deep condition weekly, I noticed that my hair didn’t retain as much moisture like it did before.

Whenever I tried to do the LOC-method I would feel like the oils I used weren’t doing their job. The coconut and olive oil would just sit on my hair instead of penetrating the hair strands like it used to do before. I would have to re-moisturize my hair everyday which was a huge hassle. This was due to me using a shampoo with sulfates & parabens. I know I know… I should’ve seen that coming. Kinky, curly hair is naturally dry, so using products that contain sulfates, parabens & minerals doesn’t help.

Honestly, I was just too busy with school and work to go to the beauty supply store and buy the Creme Of Nature conditioner and shampoo. Trust me… I’ve learned my lesson.

A few days ago I found the time to go to the store and buy my products. Realizing that my hair regimen was lacking something I decided to pick up this hairbutter from Creme Of Nature. I ‘ve read and seen alot of reviews about it but I never tried it. It’s Called “Butter-Licious Curls”. It retails for about €10.99/$12/£8.38.

I finally found what my LOC-method was missing & I’m in love! It’s great for wash and go’s, braid-outs, all kinds of twist-outs.This contains no sulfates, parabens or minerals. You will not believe me when I tell you how amazing this is. . . I’m in love! *hear the angels sing HALLELUJAH! This butter is lightweight yet creamy, custard-like. It contains argan, cocoa & shea butter. These soften, hydrate & improve the managability of your curls and reduces breakage and dryness.

I did a twist out last nigt using this product. I don’t like alot of products in my hair so for the LOC-method I only used the Argan Oil Strenght and Shine Leave-in conditioner, coconut oil, the Butter-Licious Curls. I applied those to my hair in that order after shampooing and deep conditioning my hair. My hair is bouncy, shiny, hydrated and super soft..

Don’t be fooled by this little jar. It contains alot of product. A little goes a long way, you don’t need much!

Ps: You can also use this on a daily basis to re-hydrate your hair.

I got the “curl enhancer” (something like that) also from Creme of nature for my sister a good month agp and she hasn’t stopped talking about it. I’ve had my hair in braids alot so once I take this down I will most certainly give this a try.

    Great post!
