Since I was a teenager I’ve had combination skin. My T-zone gets really oily throughout the day while the rest of my face is normal. Aside from my moisturizers, masks and toners I use these primers to prevent my face from getting oily during the day.
Eyeshadow Primer Potion by Urban Decay
This primer prevents my eyeshadow from creasing and my eyelids from getting oily. I just apply a thin layer on my eyelids. A little goes a long way with this product. It defeats it’s purpose if you use too much. I’ve been using this for about a year now and I love it. It’s definitely worth every coin!
Milk Of Magnesia by Phillips
I’ve heard about this primer through youtube and social media. The interesting thing about this is that it’s primarily used as a cramp reliever. Turns out that it works as a primer for oily skin. It absorbs all the excess oils from your face and keeps it matte througout the day. I just apply a thin layer on my T-zone and let it dry before I apply my foundation. A whole bottle lasts me for at least a year. This is the best primer I’ve ever used, hands down!! I want to thank the person who discovered this because this stuff is AH-MA-ZING!
All About Matt by Essence
This is a long lasting, pore refining make-up base. This is a gel based, clear primer that I apply on the parts of my face that haven’t been primed with the milk of magnesia. It’s smooth and absorbs well into the skin.
The eyeshadow primer can be purshased at Sephora, the Essence primer in Kruidvat and the Milk Of Magnesia on Amazon. You can also find these online.
