When you shave or wax any part of your body, your skin is bound to get razor bumps or ingrown hairs. These are hairs that remain inside the hair follicle and grow sideways into the skin. These can be very painful and appear as red bumps. Here are a few tricks I’ve used to get rid of them.
Use this whenever you feel that your skin is itching or at least once a week to prevent ingrown hairs. Soak your skin with lukewarm water to open up your pores and gently exfoliate your skin with a shower oil of your choice.
Repeat the steps that were mentioned with the exfoliating gloves but this time use a body scrub of your choice. I always go for the Shea Body Scrub by The Body Shop. This allows me to kill two birds with one stone. It gets rid of dead skin and moisturizes the body.
