Batiste Dry Shampoo on natural hair | Review

May 3, 2016

When I got my hair straightened I needed to find a way to remove oils and build up since I like to oil my scalp two to three times a week with coconut oil.

This is the first time I’ve ever had my hair pressed so I was looking for something to get rid of the build so that I could keep my hairstyle a little longer.

I did my research, went to the beauty supply store and picked up a dry shampoo by Batiste.

Dry shampoo is basically a dry substance that cleanses your hair without water. It soakes up all the oil that has built up on your scalp and hair and makes it feel fresh and look clean. It also adds body and volume to the hair.

It’s not moisturizing at all so remember that this does not replace a regular wash day. Make sure not to use this more than twice a week.

  1.  Apply to the root of your hair at a distance of 20cm.
  2. Massage this into your hair or brush your hair (helps to get rid of the build up and white residue)

I love this product! My hair looked and smelled clean. It added alot of body and shine to my hair, got rid of excess oils and let’s not forget the smell! It smelled like coconut and citrus.. AH-MAZING!

They come in different scents and sizes. You can get this online or in your local beauty supply store for €4.31.

How has your experience been with dry shampoo?
